Your lawyer provides a service to you.

Colorado Law Company is founded on the principle that legal representation provides a service to the client.  In other words, it’s understood that you want service.  You want to know what is going on, and you want to understand your options.  That’s your right.  Too often, people are heard complaining that their attorney is arrogant or hard to reach.  You won’t have that experience here.

My name is Chris Forsyth and I operate Colorado Law Company where the focus is on client service and results.  I grew up in a small town in Kansas surrounded by hard-working people like you. I attended the University of Kansas, where I received a Bachelor's of Science in Journalism in 1988. I was awarded outstanding achievement in my emphasized area of study upon graduation.

After some real life experiences, I decided I wanted to be a lawyer. I returned to the University of Kansas, where I attended the School of Law. I worked my way through school and, in two years and two months, completed course work that usually takes three years. I graduated in 1992. I received the AmJur (an award) in advanced litigation and served on the Journal of Law and Public Policy.

I like to treat people the way I like to be treated.  While I can definitely be aggressive in the courtroom, I like to treat my clients with care and consideration.  You deserve conscientious legal representation.  Feel free to contact CoLawCo today to speak with me.

When I was in college, I spent all my summers working various jobs in the mountains. I spent a summer in Yellowstone, a summer in Colorado, and summers in Denali Park, Alaska. The result was that I fell in love with the mountains. So, after I finished law school, I packed up the car and headed to Colorado.

I worked as a clerk for a judge, passed the bar, and began my career as a deputy district attorney in the 4th Judicial District (Colorado Springs). After working my way from prosecuting traffic tickets to major felonies, I decided a change was in order. I began the practice of civil law, and spent years representing insurance companies. My practice focused on workers' compensation, but I also did some personal injury and premises liability work.

Once again, I decided a change was in order. I began the representation of people like you in workers' compensation cases and other civil matters. I also help people with personal injuries or criminal or traffic matters. I find it truly rewarding to help people like you with legal issues. I enjoy treating people the way I like to be treated. And my wife and I love living in Colorado.
